What To Expect
I want to make our portrait sessions fun. It is your child’s day to be the center of attention and be a star. I put a lot of energy into a session to get as many poses as we can in our time together. I encourage multiple clothing changes (my studio space does have a spacious dressing room). What I find works well is to begin with your child in their most formal attire and then progressively get more casual as we proceed through our session. This keeps things moving and interesting for the kids. It is always nice to get out of those stuffy clothes and get a chance to just be yourself for the camera.
Siblings are welcome. This portrait special is particularly suited for toddlers through children eight years old. I do require a down payment of $68.75 when we book our session so I can reserve studio time.
I am often asked if my package options can be changed. Absolutely! Feel free to add to or modify your package options. My Portrait Specials are constructed as a starting point to help me organize how I will capture the theme of our session and make sure that you can take advantage of a great deal on your wonderful portraits. I will provide a complete price list on request, but you can check out my Pricing page to get started.
The theme of this special portrait session is “Hooray, its Spring!”. It has always been one of my favorite times of the year and marks many memories for me and my children. I want to try and capture for you this time in your child’s life. I want to record as many different expressions and emotions as I can because this makes a great flip-book. That's why this special gives you a 5x5 hardbound press-printed book as one of your package choices. We will capture a range of formal to casual portraits that truly make this a memorable experience. That reminds me, I also encourage you to bring something that might represent the phase of your child’s life right now. A Thomas Train toy, a special doll, or a comforting stuffed animal for example. Just keep it something simple and everyone will enjoy seeing it and that cute little person again for years to come.

Located in the historic Old City of Knoxville, Tennessee, my studio space is a comfortable and spacious 1300 sq. ft. An inviting open area with relaxing couches allows you to view all of the action or just chill out while I am changing a set. More importantly, this space ignites for me a ton of creative freedom.
Sessions are by appointment only. The service and attention that I want to give each and every client unfortunately does not allow for walk-ins.
